Heroes of Ruin

Does anybody know how to avoid causing the glitchy occurrence in which the fight against Ruinlord Adrian stalls and he stomps around taking and dealing no damage at all?

(His health bar disappears entirely, unlike normal invicibility, and he stops effecting things.)

I know it can be fixed by leaving to Nexus and then returning to the boss fight, but that often recovers him to a certain stage of health points. Is there a way to avoid causing this glitch? I suspect that the cause is Solar Beam related.

So does it turn him invincible for the whole fight after he does his stomping?

I'm not sure about Solarbeam though, because DJ_Tune and I fought him twice, both times spamming Solarbeam... Although I think it did glitch once for us and I've forgotten about it until just now. I think he flew up or something and just disappeared. It was kind of late at the time... Hrm. I guess boss fights are the things most prone to bug in the game, and when you've got a boss like Adrian with so many different phases there's more to go wrong. Maybe DJ_Tune will remember exactly what happened.

Well, the stomping never ends, so he remains invincible until you leave for Nexus. Fortunately, returning from Nexus usually keeps his HP within a quarter of where you left it.
